(1) Admission to the Banasthali University is open to women only.
(2) Admission is open to all women irrespective of their race, religion, caste or color or domicile.
(3) A student admitted to the Banasthali University has to compulsorily join a hostel of the University unless the student is a ward of some worker of the University and stays with the worker in the campus, or the student belongs to a neighboring village community within a radius of 25 kms.
(4) Every student seeking admission to the Banasthali University has to submit an application on the prescribed form and pay the requisite application fee by the prescribed date.

+ Admission to these courses shall be based on merit-cum-aptitude test to be held in June, 2008.

Admission to all other courses shall be based upon merit in the qualifying examination.

OPTION 3:
Online Submission of application is also possible on the University website www.banasthali.org .
This option is not available for applying to B.Ed./ M.Ed./ B.P.Ed. Programmes.
One must fill the form giving the DD No. for application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 1,100/- with late fee after May 8, 2008 upto May 15, 2008). Only on receiving the draft, the application will be further processed.
Separate form is to be filled for each programme. For B.Tech.(CSE/EC/IT/BT/CE) one has to fill only one form but a separate form for B.Pharm.

FOREIGN / NRI ADMISSIONS
A limited number of seats are available for Foreign/ NRI candidates. Admission against these seats are based directly upon the merit and the applicants do not have to appear in the Aptitude Test. The eligibility for FOREIGN/ NRI candidates is 40% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.(Except for B.Ed. where it is 45% , M.Ed. where it is 55%)
The following documents are required for admission against FOREIGN/ NRI seats:
(i) Original Certificates/ Marksheets of the qualifying examination.
(ii) Attested photocopies of the Passport and Visa of the applicant/ guardian.
(iii) Foreign Bank Account Number or NRI Account Number of the applicant/ guardian.
(iv) Declaration regarding, Non-Resident Indian status of the applicant/ guardian.
READMISSION : If a student is separated from Banasthali or Shri Shantabai Shiksha Kutirand in the event Banasthali University decides to readmit her, admission fee of Rs. 1,000/- – shall be payable. The admission of a student shall be automatically cancelled due to unauthorized absence of three days or more
