THE Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) third semester students submitted a memorandum to the pro vice chancellor and in-charge registrar complaining about major bloopers and ‘out of syllabus’ questions they were asked to answer in the annual examination. According to the students, these errors surfaced in the Programming in Unix examination held on May 17.

The third semester students accompanied by student leaders alleged that Programming Unix paper had many mistakes and questions worth 52 marks were from topics which they had not been taught in the class room.

Third semester students also alleged after a teacher who taught Programming Unix left MS University, no fresh appointment was made and the course remained untaught.

Students also alleged that the bloopers were due to negligence on part of the BCA course coordinator VA Kalamkar who did not take care while assigning the task of ‘paper setting’. They said results are also not being declared on time.
